Simple. Direct. Transparent.
How It Works
Step 1: Tell Us About Your Watch Submit your watch details through the form below or reach out directly. Include the brand, model, reference number, condition notes, and photos if you have them. The more detail, the more accurate the initial offer.
Step 2: Receive Your Offer I'll evaluate your watch against current market data and send you a fair offer—typically within 24 hours. You'll see how I arrived at the number, not just the number itself.
Step 3: Choose Your Path Selling? Accept the offer and we'll send a prepaid, fully insured FedEx label. Ship your watch to Charlotte for final inspection. Trading? Apply your watch's value toward anything in our current inventory—or toward a sourcing request for something specific. We'll coordinate both sides of the transaction.
Step 4: Inspection & Verification Once your watch arrives, I personally inspect it for authenticity and condition. If everything matches your description, we proceed immediately. If there's a discrepancy, I'll contact you before making any adjustments.
Step 5: Payment or Trade Completion Selling? Payment processes the same day as receipt just after its inspection. Wire, Zelle, PayPal, or crypto—your choice. Trading? Your credit applies immediately. If your new watch is in stock, it ships the same day. If we're sourcing, the hunt begins with your credit locked in.
Transparent Terms
How We Value Your Watch Every offer is based on current market data: recent sales of comparable references, current asking prices across major platforms, and condition-adjusted valuations. I'll show you how I arrived at the number—not just the number itself.
No Lowball Tactics I'm not trying to buy your watch for as little as possible. I'm trying to offer a fair price that makes the transaction worthwhile for both of us. If you can get meaningfully more selling private, I'll tell you.
No Surprise Adjustments The offer I make is the offer I honor—assuming your watch matches the description and photos you provided. If there's a discrepancy, I'll contact you before adjusting anything.
Payment Methods (Selling) Wire transfer, Zelle, PayPal, or cryptocurrency. Your choice. Payment processes same day as receipt and inspection.
Trade Credit If you're trading, your watch's full agreed value applies toward your next acquisition. Use it immediately on existing inventory, or hold it as credit toward a sourcing request.
Shipping We provide a prepaid, fully insured FedEx Priority Overnight label. Your watch is protected up to its full value from the moment it leaves your hands.
First-Time Buyer
"I'd never bought a watch over $5K online before. Chris walked me through everything—condition, market value, why this particular reference made sense for me. The Panerai arrived exactly as described."
Collector
"Most dealers stock the same Submariners and Datejusts. Chris has pieces you don't see anywhere else—my Glashutte PanoInverse came from him. He understands collectors."
Seller
"Got quotes from three dealers on my AP Royal Oak. Chris was $2K higher than anyone else—and he could explain exactly how he valued it. Fair price, fast payment."
Repeat Client
"Four transactions now, including a DeWitt tourbillon that I'd been chasing for two years. The trust is earned. When Chris says a piece is right, it's right."
Investor Mindset
"I treat watches like I treat any alternative asset—carefully. Chris gets that. He doesn't oversell appreciation, but he knows which references hold value."
-
Every offer is based on current market conditions—recent sold prices for comparable references, current asking prices across major platforms, and condition-based adjustments. I'll explain exactly how I arrived at the number, including what comparable pieces have sold for recently.
-
Typically within 24 hours of receiving your details. If you include clear photos and complete information, often same-day.
-
I'll explain my reasoning. If you've seen comparable pieces sell for more, share that data—I'm happy to discuss. My goal is a fair transaction, not winning a negotiation. If we can't agree on value, no hard feelings.
-
Once your watch is received and inspected, payment is sent the same day. Wire transfer, Zelle, PayPal, or crypto—your choice. The offer I made is the amount you receive, assuming the watch matches your description.
-
If there's a significant discrepancy between your description and the actual watch, I'll contact you before making any adjustments. You'll have the option to accept a revised offer or have the watch returned at our expense. No surprises.
-
Yes. Your trade credit can apply toward a sourcing request. We'll lock in your credit value, then hunt for the specific piece you want. Same sourcing process, with your trade value already applied.
-
We typically focus on pieces valued at $5,000 and above, as transaction costs on lower-value watches often don’t make sense for an outright sale. That said, we’re happy to consider lower-priced pieces when they’re being traded toward a higher-value watch. If you’re unsure, reach out—there are always exceptions for the right piece.
-
Brand, model, reference number (if known), approximate age, condition notes, and whether you have box/papers. Photos are extremely helpful—dial, caseback, bracelet/strap, and any notable wear or issues. The more detail, the more accurate the initial offer.
