Up for sale here is an amazing Rolex Day-Date with the meteorite diamond dial. These are incredibly hard to find, and even harder to find in this condition! The bracelet has no sag whatsoever, and the dial is original and unaltered. Ref. 118238.
Meteorite is my absolutely favorite material for a watch dial, and against the gold here- this might be my new favorite watch! The way the different facets of meteorite look in changing lighting conditions and angles is unmatched- and the pieces Rolex selects for their dials somehow look better than any other cuts of meteorite I’ve ever seen.
Interestingly, although it is an M serial number (2008 production), it wasn’t sold until 2011 as dated on the warranty card. Such a different time in the watch market- now, meteorite dials barely even make it to the display case before being sold!
Comes as a full set with all the manuals original warranty card. Offering at a slight discount here because of the ding in the bezel at 12 o’clock. I will either fix or replace that, and then price accordingly if it doesn’t sell quick!
