Patek Phillipe Annual Calendar in Platinum, black opaline dial
Up for sale here is one of the rarest and lowest production “normal” Patek Phillipe models. While the 5960P was produced from 2006 until 2018, the platinum model was discontinued in 2014, replaced by the steel version. This one here, Ref. 5960P-016, was only made for one year before the discontinuation of all the precious metal versions in 2014.
The -016 variant has a beautiful black dial- unlike any of the other dial colors for the 5960. Set into the 40.5mm platinum case- the contrast is simply incredible.
The 5960 is powered by the automatic caliber 28-520 movement, with a day/night indicator, annual calendar, and power reserve complications. All highly legible against the dark dial. What’s really nice about this movement is the vertical clutch on the chronograph- it can be used as a running seconds hand! Really, it can be.
Comes as a full set, and is mounted on the original blue alligator strap with platinum deployant clasp. Includes the platinum pusher as well!
